Audition the retextured cast
Try each character on an otherwise empty stage before combining them. Use what you hear in 1.7 rather than following a combination list for early Swapped V1.1.
Change one part at a time
Keep a small backing mix and replace one sound. This makes it easier to compare the new part without losing track of the whole arrangement.
